Refrigeration- one vital system in industries

Any refrigeration unit would contain certain parts which are common to even small refrigerators though the size may differ. Compressors are considered to be the heart of any industrial refrigeration system. Compressors need to be in good conditions to provide better cooling for the industries. If there are any compressor failures or small compressors in the place of a big one then this would just eat up the production time. These production problems can be rectified with the knowledge of refrigeration engineering. For some applications, a multi stage compressor configuration must be provided for better performance and also the energy consumption is reduced. This can also be configured with the knowledge of refrigeration engineering. Most of the ammonia refrigeration systems require two stage compressors. Condensers are another major part of the refrigeration system. Condensers are again for providing cost effective refrigeration. Again if the condenser capacity is low then the energy consumption for refrigeration will be very high. Also, when low capacity condensers are used this would result in frequent failure also. For a chiller plant, ammonia refrigeration with 700 HP Compressors, Accumulator ,Condenser, Evaporators, Purger, Chillers, and other piping Installation might be required. Ammonia refrigeration is also popular in chiller plant implementations.
